Born and raised in South East London, Russell Blackburn showed a love of fashion from an early age. Following ten successful years as Fashion Director at 'You & Your Wedding Magazine', in 2005 Russell fulfilled a lifelong dream of launching his own bridal business – opening Blackburn Bridal in leafy Blackheath village.  

Appealing to stylish brides wanting quality and originality alongside a personal approach to finding ‘the dress’, Russell has built up what is now one of the most successful independent bridal boutiques in the UK.

Fashion-forward, cool, elegant and bohemian, their brides travel from all over the world to visit the shop and choose from the extensive selection of exclusive designers.
