Old Spike Roastery is a traditional coffee bean roastery and coffee shop in Peckam Rye, Peckham. The team at Old Spike use a traditional coffee roaster, named Torberg, to produce some of the finest fresh coffee in London and can deliver their stunning blends directly to your door on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Depending on your home brewing methods, Old Spike offer Whole Bean, Espresso, Filter or French Press coffee deliveries.

As you may have already guessed, this is no ordinary establishment. A quick look at their website shows that this truly is a coffee house like no other, with a management team that go well beyond the goal of producing high quality coffee; “If you’re looking for a morning cup of coffee that gives you a little more than just a caffeine hit, buying and drinking our coffee will make a real difference to homeless people across the country”. That’s right; the Old Spike Roastery is a Social Enterprise set up exclusively to help homeless people in the community. Their mission is to provide an income and valuable on-the-job training that will hopefully be a stepping stone for the individuals involved to obtain long-term employment.

They are also committed to reducing their environmental impact and change the coffee beans they use in accordance with what is available every season.
