There is a magical, awe-inspiring feel to Puppet Planet; the moment you step through the door you're confronted at every turn by what must be the largest congregation of puppets anywhere in the country. Expect everything from traditional, vintage and collectors' puppets, to modern, children's toys and t.v. puppet celebrities.

By far the most intriguing part of Puppet Planet is Lesley, the owner, who has been working with puppets most of her life. Whether she's been making them for T.V. shows and master puppeteers, performing with them at children's parties and puppeteering events, or simply collecting them for her own satisfaction, Lesley is an authority in the genre with a passion for teaching people about, and having fun with, puppets.

Lesley runs regular puppet making workshops and offers puppeteering for events; where you can book a themed puppet show for your parties and get togethers. Suitable for all ages, both workshops and parties act as an engaging and fascinating dive into a world rarely seen in modern culture.

Lesley's drama workshops focus on how to use puppets and masks to create dramatic, comedic and engaging stories; an act that has been popular in Western Europe since at least Roman times, where puppets were used for social and political commentary to great effect.
