The Gallery London is an independent art gallery in Hither Green, South East London.
Established by local people as a hub for artistic activity in the area, Gallery London showcases a diverse range of work in different mediums; from furniture and sculpture, to classic paintings and photography.
On top of the artwork they have for sale, Gallery London take bespoke requests for items of furniture and also sell art equipment essentials, such as paints, sketchbooks and brushes.
But that’s not all they do, nor is selling their work all that they are about. One of the Gallery’s aims is to disseminate information and encourage the application of arts & crafts in the community.
From step-by-step guides on creating lampshades out of jam jars to short essays about the differences between contemporary and modern paintings, Gallery London are working hard to instil creativity, and the valuable associated skills, in our communities once again.
