Cupcakes and Shhht is an independent Bakery in Hackney, East London.

As the name suggests, the team at C & S offer an enormous range of cupcakes -including some Vegan options- and a mouth-watering menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch options.

The interior is chic, simple and has enough cushions and decorations to make you feel truly at home. Meanwhile, the menu boasts such a variety of food options that you may well find yourself hard-pushed to choose between them. For breakfast, choose from vegan & vegetarian full english breakfasts, 'posh' porridges, banana pancakes and matcha waffles.

For lunch and dinner there only needs to be one option; their vegan burger. Made in-house with all sorts of substitutes, sauces, wild mushrooms, macadamia nuts and sweetheart potato fries, this is not a burger to be tackled lightly.

Cupcakes and Shhht also take care in choosing their suppliers; eggs come from Hen Nation, a chicken sanctuary with a no-kill policy, while milk comes from Yeo Valley, who have one of the highest ratings in animal welfare.

To wash it all down, choose from a selection of Organic teas, a host of hot & iced coffees and a small selection of freakshakes - vegan milk-shakes.
