Deptford does Art is an independent Art gallery and cafe in Deptford, South London.
Deptford Does Art is an Art gallery, cafe and event space in Deptford, South East London. To put simply, Deptford Does Art is an exciting project aimed at pooling and showcasing art from around the local area in order for local artists to gain exposure and therefore help them sell (and sustain) their work.
The project exhibits artwork at their purposefully refurbished gallery space, where refreshing drinks, warming teas & coffees and delicious food is also served.
The art on show ranges in type and style, from landscape paintings to pop-art and more abstract pieces. The team also do murals, visual art, and cinematography.
The Deptford Does Art project takes no commission from sales, meaning all the money from the sale goes to the artist, undoubtedly helping them to sustain and develop their work.
